A little update on CheiroDePipoca's artistic life

. So, on Sunday I bought a new computer. I was really sad because I had copied data to my external HD but I had left another 30 Gbs on that bloody disc that passed away to copy later. Stupid, stupid, stupid me! ARRR
Anyway, let's focus on the good news and let's stop ranting lol.
After undergoing an awful period of drawer's block I've finally started sketching non-stop. Actually, right now, I'm just giving a break to my muses who have been inspiring me these days in order to write this journal.
Well, let's say that after sketching and working on some bellydancer outfits for random OCs I thought it would be cool to design a specific outfit for Nat, not just any costume. I've been doing some research on gothic, Celtic, tribal bellydancing and I've gotten tons of ideas to start combining.
I've also added some belts, swords, and other things I have at home for Nat's outfit. It was kind of easy to draw thiese new deviations cuz I used some of my own photos as reference. In my old sketch "Midnight Fantasies", I used another of my photos but Nat looks like any ordinary bellydancer. I wanted to "upgrade" her style so as to make her look more like a warrior, a tought bellydancer.
I'm also working on a new logo for Piratess Nat...I've brainstormed a couple of designs so now I have to look for a cool font and other things that I wanna add to her logo. I have many things in mind and I don't know where to start. I'm not planning on uploading the sketches pretty soon cuz I'm still working on some details, jewelry, coins, hip-scarf, hat, weapons.
As for the 30 features, I haven't received many comments so -by the end of the month I guess- I'm gonna post a journal with the DArtists who have left a comment (no matter if they're 2, 5 or 10) lol.
OK, I think that's all. Back to work, I might draw something else now as I think any Pirate Lord would love to have his own personal bellydancer lol.
Ok bloody pirates and cute lasses, I'm off to work now.
Hope to update this journal and my gallery pretty soon.

That sucks about your compy. In this day and age it's the ultimate nightmare to crash your HD, especially as an artist keeping your stuff there. At least you posted to dA, so those things are safe. Hope your new compy is better to you!
